I am going to be doing a long-term substitute teaching assignment starting in October and I am really excited. Today I got to meet half of the students since I subbed for just the afternoon. So far I really like them and the classes went well. I hope that continues once I get into the classroom full-time! I also really love the school where I'll be subbing. The staff is great and I get along with them really well (at least the ones that I have met so far!). Now I just hope that I can get some consistent jobs until then...it's been pretty slow so far.
