It's been 3 years since I've posted. I'm sure no one reads this anymore, but I need a place to document my new hobby (workout?) of running.
I ran on a fairly consistent basis 6 years ago and really started to fall in love with it. Then we moved and I had 2 babies and I just never got back into it. I challenged myself to train to run a 5K with a group of friends over July 4th weekend and now I'm hooked. I definitely did not train as well as I should have and made some beginner mistakes for the race (did not hydrate properly, started out way too fast), but I had a great time and am planning to run another 5K in October, this time with proper training!
